"Beauty for Ashes"
I have always loved this verse. It gives a vision of beauty coming out of the ashes of our lives from the fires that burn in our minds or our bodies. Some fires burn because of physical pain. Some fires rage in our minds, and we have no idea how to quench them. Sometimes we're hurting for someone else. Sometimes we feel like we're hopeless and we'll never change or be any better. And the list goes on. I believe we have to face whatever it is as best we can and then let a higher power take the rest. My hope is that some day all of us who suffer will see peace and beauty made from the ashes of our lives.
