There is an Irish legend about the Children of Lir. It tells of siblings that are turned into swans through a magic spell. The moral of this legend is love, love of siblings. One phrase in the story says, "Their time on the Northern Straits of Moyle were not so joyous, with frequent storms separating them, only for them to join up again…," "…but they had survived together." Even after their father passed away, they had each other.
Siblings can be a touchstone, a reminder of who we are and where we come from. And sometimes they're the only ones that really understand how you grew up.
While on location for this shoot, these two sisters (with Irish heritage) showed the kind of love and tenderness for each other that this story portrayed.
